  • The program does not apply to OCBC Bank Staff with Seller or Operations functions at branches.
  • Terms of the Referrer and Referral:

    Terms of Referrer Terms of Referral
    • Referrer is required to share referral code to the Referee by selecting one of the channels below to participate in Refer a Friend program:
      1. If via OCBC mobile, then share referral code to the Referral; or
      2. If via internet banking, then Referrer is required to fill in the Referral of name and phone number (max data filling 1 month after opening account) If there is a discrepancey in data between Referrer entered via Internet Banking, the Referrer is not eligible to receive the reward.
    • Referrer is must have joined Nyala/Premier Banking services.
    • Participant negligence in entering referral code causes reward to not be credited.
    • Refer a Friend reward will be calculated after the Referral place fund in acordance with the program scheme table above max. 1 month after Referral open an account.
    • Refereer account must be in active and not blocked/restricted for whatsoever reasons at the time payment of the program reward is made by Bank.
    • Rewards will be credited no later than 4th week of the following month to Referrer Tanda 360 Plus IDR account after the above requiredments are met.
    • Referrer represents and warrants that it has obtained the consent of the Referral for its personal data to be provided to OCBC for participation in the program and to be contacted by OCBC, and guarantees to release OCBC from all risks, demands, lawsuits and other legal remedies against OCBC related to or arising from the disclosure of the Referral personal data to OCBC.
    • Referral is required to open account via OCBC mobile or branch.
    • Referral is required to fill in the referral code based on the channel used:
      • If via OCBC mobile, then fill in the referral code in the referral code field; or
      • If via Internet Banking, make sure the phone number entered by Referrer in Internet Banking is the same as the one entered in Bank system when the Referral open an account.
    • The Referral is required to place funds no later than the end of the following month from the month of account opening.
    • The value of Referral fund placement calculated is the total balance of the combined funds.
  • For min. fund placement IDR250K only be given via OCBC mobile and the Referral must join Nyala via OCBC mobile by entering the Referral Code.
  • Especially for fund placement IDR250K and IDR1 Million, the Referrer will only recive max reward 5 Customers Referral per month.
  • Reward is only valid if the referrer and the referee have met the terms and conditions of the program.
  • Bank at its discretion and consideration, has the right to suspend or cancel the reward if there is an indication of fraud, impropriety or violation of these terms and conditions or is included in the Bank's fraud list.

Steps for the Referrer via OCBC mobile

  • On the Dashboard page, click Refer a Friend.
  • Click the copy button on the Unique Referral Code and share through the app of your choice.
  • After the code is successfully copied, a notification will appear saying Referral Code copied successfully.
  • Customers can also share a link to download the OCBC Mobile app by clicking Invite My Friend.
  • A notification will appear saying Invitation has been Sent, click OK.
  • Referrals who are sent the Link MUST STILL enter the Referral Code.

Steps for the Referrer via Internet Banking

  • Login to internet banking
  • Choose Layanan Nasabah
  • Select Refer a Friend
  • Select referrer’s account number
  • Input referral data (name and phone number)
  • Data successfully stored

Steps for the referral via OCBC mobile

  • Click on the link shared by the Referrer.
  • The link will direct you to download the OCBC mobile, proceed with downloading OCBC Mobile.
  • After downloading OCBC mobile, click on the Register button.
  • Click on the button that says Belum Punya Rekening OCBC.
  • Choose Buka Layanan Nyala by OCBC.
  • The referral MUST enter the Referral Code that has been sent by your referee so they can receive the Refer a Friend program reward.
  • The Bank Officer Code is optional and is to be filled if the account opening is assisted by a Seller.
  • After entering the Referral Code in the column, a list of Program Codes that the Referral can also follow will appear along with the entered Referral Code.
  • Select the Promo Code you want to use.
  • Then click Pakai.
  • After the Promo Code and Referral Code are filled in, enter the Bank Officer Code (Optional), then click Check to validate that the sales code is correct.
  • Choose the type of NYALA Service that suits your needs, then click Ajukan.

    [A]: You can expect to receive your reward up to two months since the referral receiver joins Nyala and opens an account.
  • [Q]As a Premier Banking customer, am I allowed to refer a friend to join as a Nyala customer?
    [A]: Yes.
  • [Q]If I make a cross-segment referral, which reward will I be eligible for?
    [A]: The reward that the referrer will receive is in accordance with the segment and AUM of the referral recipient.
  • [Q]As a Nyala customer, can I refer friends through a branch office?
    [A]: Yes, as long as the referral is also made through internet banking.
  • [Q]If I refer a friend who already has an OCBC account, will I still qualify for the reward?
    [A]: No, because the Refer a Friend program is only valid if the referral recipient is not an existing OCBC customer.

    [A]: May 1st 2024 until June 30th 2024.

    [A]: in the program eligibility calculation, there is a mandatory validation for fresh fund with the following calculation
    • If the fresh fund amount is smaller than the AUM amount, then tiering reward will be paid based on the fresh fund amont
    • If the fresh fund amount is greater than the AUM amount, then tiering reward will be paid based on the AUM amount
