Jakarta, 26 June 2024 - The transformation of the financial sector plays a crucial role in unlocking access to technology-based financial services, including credit services. Ironically, many within the business ecosystem, which includes SMEs, Modern Enterprises, and even employees within these entities, lack an understanding of financial management concepts, especially in unavoidable emergency conditions. The flow of business capital or unexpected expenses, such as health-related costs, home maintenance needs, and vehicle repairs, become everyday challenges.
In response to the situation, as a form of commitment to encourage steps towards healthy finances, PT Bank OCBC NISP ("OCBC ") and OttoDigital through the business line of PT Indoartha Perkasa Sukses have officially collaborated to provide financing access to SME operators via non-collateral loan (KTA) offerings. This serves as a definite, easy, and secure solution to their financial challenges. The signing of this collaboration took place at the OttoDigital Head Office, Jakarta, in mid-June.
According to the OCBC Business Fitness Index 2023, it was found that the majority of SMEs still need to enhance their capability to manage their business financial conditions. This is because 53% of SMEs do not have an estimate or do not know how to create a budget estimate, revenue, and funds for ongoing business operations, including how to obtain emergency funds. Furthermore, only 30% of employees in Indonesia are knowledgeable about managing finances. Due to this low awareness of financial planning, the majority of the business ecosystem, on average 50%, only have reserve funds that can support operational activities for 1-4 months, and only 1% of the Indonesian population has savings for their urgent needs.
Grace Sunarjo, Director of PT Indoartha Perkasa Sukses welcomes the collaboration between OttoDigital and OCBC. According to Grace, the purpose of this collaboration is to enhance the accessibility of financial solution services so they're easily reachable by the target market. “OttoDigital sees that the business ecosystem needs to be strengthened with the right #BusinessSolution. In order for financial solutions to be enjoyed by users, we open access to financial services on various platforms that we manage. On another note, to achieve more inclusive digital financial services, we also provide a safe and easily integrated SDK (Software Development Kit) service to the platforms of our distribution partners, aiming to achieve a widespread multiplier effect. Together with OCBC, we hope the business ecosystem can grow and evolve, thus creating a healthy financial ecosystem,” revealed Grace Sunarjo.
Veronika Susanti, Digital Lending Division Head of OCBC said, "OCBC is committed to continuously support entrepreneurs to #DareToLevelUp through enhancing inclusion and literacy. The customer referral program from OttoDigital to OCBC for financing is designed to support the OttoDigital business ecosystem where the majority are SMEs, both individuals and legal entities, employees, and various other communities. This program is expected to provide solutions to improve service, productivity, and business income, which ultimately aims to achieve financial well-being for the participants.”
The advantages of CashBiz KTA for SMEs and CashLoan KTA for individuals are the easy and simple process, where the review process for each KTA application is carried out meticulously and responsively within 3 to 5 working days upon receiving the necessary information from potential customers. This program offers KTA application amounts up to IDR 200,000,000,- (two hundred million Rupiah) with loan tenures varying from 6 months to 36 months and interest rates starting from 0.98% per month. Applications for both services can be accessed through various platforms managed by OttoDigital and partnered distribution partners.
Through this collaboration, both parties hope to make a significant contribution to advancing the digital financial industry in Indonesia and inspire more #BusinessSolution innovations and collaborations that will have a positive impact on the entire business ecosystem to #DareToLevelUp.
