TRANSACTION DEBIT CARD WITH GLOBAL WALLET

  1. Make sure you have enough balance in your foreign exchange account to make transactions or withdraw cash
  2. Make sure the value of transaction doesn’t exceed the daily limit of the card for withdrawal or debit transaction aboard
  3. Debit card can be used on ATM/EDC machines that gave the Maestro, Mastercard or Cirrus logos
  4. When transaction at an ATM, make sure to select type of savings account

Contactless feature on OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Cards

Contactless Feature on OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Card

Now, OCBC Mastercard Debit Cards equipped with contactless features for convenience, security and speed of transactions. Here is the important information about OCBC Mastercard Debit Card with Contactless feature/technology:

  • The Contactless feature is an inherent feature to OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Card where cardholders with the Contactless symbol can make transactions without having to insert the card into the EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machine and without having to enter a PIN for certain transaction amounts.
  • Contactless feature can be used after setting the contactless transaction limit via OCBC mobile and making one transaction at an ATM/EDC via the Mastercard network aboard.
  • OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Card with contactless feature can only be used at EDC machines overseas that accept contactless payments.
  • OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Cards with Contactless feature can only be used at off-us EDC machines abroad if it can accept contactless payments. If there is no contactless device available, customers can still transact by inserting / dipping the card into the EDC machine and using a PIN.
  • OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Cardholders with Contactless feature can make transactions without a PIN with a maximum transaction accumulation amount of Rp1,000,000 (one million rupiah) or its equivalent per transaction per day. Cardholders will be asked for PIN authentication if the transaction exceeds the limit. Contactless limit uses one combined limit ceiling which is the same as the OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Card daily shopping debit transaction limit.
  • Especially for OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Cards with Contactless feature connected to Tanda Junior account, PINless transactions can be done with a maximum transaction accumulation amount of Rp500,000 (five hundred thousand rupiah) or its equivalent per transaction per day.
  • Customers can submit a request to deactivate the Contactless feature without a PIN through a bank branch, Contact Center, or deactivate through the Card Management feature on OCBC mobile.
  • Contactless transactions without PIN can only be done at certain merchants that have Contactless EDC machines and cannot be used for cash withdrawals or online transactions.
  • To make a Contactless transaction, the Cardholder must bring and tap the card on the Contactless EDC machine.
  • No additional fees will be charged to cardholders who use the Contactless feature.

In using the Contactless feature, make sure the Cardholder himself carries and attaches the card to the EDC Contactless machine and does not hand over the card to the Merchant or any other person.

The Cardholder's error and/or negligence in utilizing this feature and/or misuse of this Contactless feature method is the sole responsibility of the Cardholder, unless proven otherwise.

The Cardholder hereby agrees that any transaction that uses the Contactless feature that has been implemented by the Bank cannot be canceled or changed for any reason.

Request New Global Debit Card via OCBC mobile

Step 1 - Login OCBC mobile and click Setting

Select Setting Card and click on the card you want change

Step 2 - Click Change Card

And choose reason change card

Step 3 - Select replacement card

Then select card delivery method

Step 4 - Check card replacement summary

Then click Continue

Step 5 - Agree terms & conditions then enter transaction PIN
