Jakarta, December 20, 2024 – In order to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from various industries, PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (OCBC) has established a partnership with a poultry technology startup, PT Integrasi Teknologi Unggas (BroilerX). Through this collaboration, OCBC provides financing to partner farmers integrated within the BroilerX ecosystem by offering an Unsecured Loan facility using OCBC's Cashbiz Loan.
BroilerX is a technology-driven company with a vision to provide modern broiler chicken farming services supported by the latest technologies. This partnership aims to offer accessible, secure, and affordable financing support to BroilerX partner farmers. It is anticipated that this initiative will contribute to the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, particularly in the livestock sector, and promote a more efficient and modern poultry industry.
Veronika Susanti, Head of Digital Lending Division OCBC, stated, “The collaboration between OCBC and BroilerX is based on shared goals and aspirations, namely to develop the livestock industry sustainably by encouraging and enhancing the businesses of farmers as well as providing access to integrated digital finance. This collaboration also represents one of OCBC's efforts to support the government's target of bringing 30 million micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) into the digital ecosystem by the end of 2024.”
This collaboration is expected to not only provide easily accessible financial solutions for farmers but also to promote efficiency in the broiler chicken farming process through the integration of technology from BroilerX. With the availability of the OCBC Cashbiz personal loan facility, farmers can focus more on enhancing the quality and quantity of production without being hindered by capital constraints.
“BroilerX and OCBC believe that timely and technology-based financial support is a crucial foundation for driving the growth of modern farming in Indonesia while strengthening the role of MSMEs in the national food supply chain. Through this collaboration, BroilerX remains committed to delivering comprehensive solutions, from production aspects to financing, thereby continuously helping to improve the welfare of farmers,” said Muhammad Hashfy Habieb, CEO Office BroilerX.
OCBC offers a variety of solutions to support Indonesian MSMEs, including those in the farming industry, to continue #DareToLevelUp with Nyala Bisnis.
