Jakarta, September 2, 2024 – The merger of PT Bank Commonwealth to become part of PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (OCBC) has obtained approval from Financial Services Authority (OJK) and has fulfilled applicable Indonesian legal requirements. With this approval, as of September 1, 2024, the merger between the two entities has been effective, and both banks have now unified under the entity of PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk.

By uniting our strengths, OCBC is ready to serve broader customer base with more comprehensive banking solutions in Indonesia, combined with OCBC’s capabilities in the ASEAN region, Greater China, and other areas,” said Parwati Surjaudaja, President Director of OCBC.
Therefore, PT Bank Commonwealth customers automatically become OCBC customers. Furthermore, customers can conduct transaction at any OCBC branch throughout Indonesia, or through OCBC’s digital channels for both individual and business needs.
