Solo, 26 January 2023 - In line with the ARSSI 2023 National Seminar & Hospital Expo, Bank OCBC NISP expressed its support by participating in the seminar. At this year's grand event, the bank also expressed its support for comprehensive financing solutions for healthcare providers to promote the transformation of Indonesia's healthcare system.
This is in line with the agenda set by the Ministry of Health late last year to transform the healthcare system in Indonesia. It is clear that healthcare transformation is not separate from organisational culture and performance change. The success of health system transformation at the hospital level must be followed by change management that is planned, measurable and adapted to the conditions of the hospital organisation. In addition, the Health Financing System Transformation pillar, which is expected to ensure equitable financing and increase promotive and preventive services, is one of the pillars of the government's focus. This can be achieved through health financing regulations with 3 basic objectives, namely availability, sufficiency and sustainability; equitable allocation; and effective and efficient utilisation . Therefore, financial institutions play an important role in achieving this mission, one of which is through financial solutions and beyond banking services provided by Bank OCBC NISP.
Emilya Tjahjadi, Director of Bank OCBC NISP, said, "Improving the welfare of the community requires access to reliable healthcare. Therefore, Bank OCBC NISP has a comprehensive solution for both financing and beyond banking services for healthcare providers".
She added, "With our participation in the ARSSI 2023 National Seminar & Hospital Expo, we aim to play an active role in realising a strong and resilient healthcare system."
Bank OCBC NISP presents comprehensive solutions from the financing side, including financing solutions for BPJS Health bills; investment and working capital financing; financing solutions for hospital management information systems, both software and hardware; fund management solutions for business efficiency; and clinic business development solutions. The existence of these solutions is expected to address various needs ranging from procuring services, managing business funds and utilising financing for healthcare operations. Bank OCBC NISP's Healthcare Financing Solution Initiative has been implemented in collaboration with several cross-industry partners such as technology providers, hospitals and the National Health Insurance Scheme.
drg. Iing Ichsan Hanafi, MARS; Chairman of Indonesian Private Hospital Association (ARSSI) said, "ARSSI as one of the main stakeholders in health care in Indonesia and currently there are 64% private hospitals spread all over Indonesia. ARSSI supports the government programme which currently has 2 important priority programmes, namely Health System Transformation and National Health Insurance Programme. Healthcare Transformation is inseparable from changing the culture and performance of the hospital organisation, and its success requires Change Management that is planned, measurable and adapted to the conditions of the hospital organisation so that the hospital management can operate effectively and efficiently. Therefore, the ARSSI National Seminar & Hospital Expo is expected to provide hospital owners, management, professional and healthcare associations, hospital observers and other stakeholders insight into healthcare transformation and national healthcare programme. This is because the transformation of the healthcare system and the National Health Insurance Programme is a joint effort of all stakeholders.
